GOD IS GOOD, ALL THE TIME

Just came home from service... It was GOOOOOOOOD :D Yuxuan was supposed to come with me today but she had piano lesson last min, was quite disappointed :( hope she joins us next week! :)

Worship was awesome, could really feel the presence of God. I think he spoke to many of us, even tho i didn't hear him today. :) But his presence and touch was enough. Feel really good now. The pastor told us that some of us delighted in the blessings of the Lord, but not in the Lord. I guess that's kindda true. As in whenever we do well, as simple as doing well for a pop quiz, to something as big as a mega life-saving and changing miracle, we will usually thank God. However once things don't go well, we stop. We start to question the presence of God, or just face the problem alone, forgetting that God exists at all. I think it is really important for us to understand that God is there for us at ALL TIMESANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE.

Sermon was great too. :) It was about our role as a priest.
Today's verse:
1 Peter 2:4-9 (NIV)
As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says:“See, I lay a stone in Zion,    a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him    will never be put to shame.”[b]Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,“The stone the builders rejected    has become the cornerstone,”[c]and,“A stone that causes people to stumble    and a rock that makes them fall.”[d]They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

It led to the discussion/ preaching of sacrifices to the Lord. First sacrifice is our lives. Our lives should be holistic, everything we do should be an act of worship unto the Lord. We should live our lives as a life that pleases Him, and honours Him. I guess this led me to A LOT of self-reflectionand i haven't been a very good Christian. :P Like like.... I have been slacking like some potato this few weeks. And then i haven't been spending quality time with God. And then i haven't been a very nice classmate, with my sacarsm and 'potatoes have skin. i have skin. therefore, i am a potato. sh...dont tell anyone i am a potato. Spread potatoism!' random spammings. :( and i have never been a good student. Shall try to change my ways and seek forgiveness. x)

Next is sacrifice of praise. So, people not only judge us by looks, they judge us by our words too.  We shouldn't be overly negative and of coz, not spout out random vulgarities. I think i might be guilty of the former :( i tend to see the negative aspects of stuff....esp. when i'm not high. Eg. NOOOOOOOO IT'S MATH D: That's something i say EVERYDAY :( But thankfully, Im NOT guilty of the latter. The furtherst i go usually is 'SHIT' and that's that.
Hmm ok on a random but yet not so random note, i think i wanna go into missions when i'm older. I wanna touch people's life, not only physically, but spiritually as well.

LOVE GOD :)

xoxo
